You are not the first owner either when you buy from them. You become the second keeper as they are the first.

I had one for 3 days and I know where your coming from. I wouldnt call it "slow" as such, as it does get up to speed quite rapidly. You can beat most cars on the road with it. But it didnt feel that exhilerating and doesnt take your breathe away. A rapid car no doubt, but it doesnt feel like warp factor 10. . It did go a little better with the Sport button in though. Still crying out for a remap IMO . The one I had only had 300 miles on it so not sure if it would go better with more miles on it.

SLOW ... You sure it was an astra vxr you were in !! I owned one for a year, and tbh , it was a lot quicker than the Vec vxr that replaced it , if it only had 7 miles on the clock it will still be very tight, that is why I would never buy an ex-demo, they get thrashed from day 1 I never felt the need to get it mapped , the vec was mapped within a month, which took it up to the astra in terms of excitement ..

yes sure lol i am a vauxhall technician . and your right about the vectra there poor on performance aswell . the only vauxhall i rate in terms of performance (new ones anyway) are the vx220 , monaro , and vxr8 . the new insignia this year should be a bit better than the vectra vxr
