    Default Continuing car saga

Having located 2 suppliers of the pully required for the car and spoken to a mechanic i know, i am ready to present Taggarts/Mazda warranty services with 3 options:

    1) I give them the name of the supplier and they get the pulley from them
    2) I buy the parts myself then the warranty company fit the bill
    3) I buy all the required parts, tow the car from the garage and get my mechanic mate to fix the car and send them the bill

Number 3 is a bit of a long shot but seems the only way i can get the car back on the road without being car-less for another 5 weeks, as it looks like i am heading that way.

A 4th option is also available - being that i take the car and pay for all the parts and labour myself and tell them to stick their warranty up their ae

Number 4 does seem a bit extreme!!

Basically this is happening because i will have to give the Micra back on Monday - and according to Trading Standards, they aren't legally obliged to supply me with a courtesy car......
