Rear electric windows pre tech2 ?

I'm thinking this would be ok, but thought I'd double check..

I will be upgrading my rear windows soon but would prefer to get my car tech2'd before I start ripping out the motors.. That way I could wire them up and test them before I do.

Will this be possible?

I had mine TECH2'ed before fitting them, as my regulators were in the wrong position so had I installed I would have had an open window for a few days.

Obviously they can't prove it worked but after doing it the light was working on the button that stops the rear passengers opening their windows, and the drivers switch stopped openind the front windows even when selected as rear.

I took this as a good sign, and when I started install it was all fine and worked

Just to let you know Roy, I had mine programmed prior to the installation of parts. It didn't work and had to be re-programmed once the parts were fitted.

ah... may try and fit the looms before then, or take them and the regs down and connect them as the tech2 is done.
