Don't know what economy would be like for your car, I have sri 150 1.9cdti and I tow a fleetwood sumatra g.v.w.1350kg. I have faithfully towed this caravan from the north east of scotland to great yarmouth and then to southport with no problems. On average towing I could get around 24-25mpg, but again I am no slowcoach and I keep up well with the motorway traffic. My previous vectra was a 2.2direct sri which would return just about the same towing ability and all the time the car and caravan have been loaded with myself, wife and two teenage girls along with their associated mountain bikes and make-up l.o.l. along with enough gear to last you a month, er sorry I should say two weeks. I also fit a large halfords roof box to cope with the sun longers, table, barbecue. With the sri set up the suspension is a bit firmer than the standard car and makes a great towing machine.

    Bugatti and Abbey

The towing capability for the Bugatti Veyron - 16.4
    with a Abbey Aventura 312:

The maximal car towing limit of the Bugatti is unknown!

    Bugatti Veyron - 16.4 (736 kW/987 bhp)
Date of manufacture: april 2006 - up to now

The match between car and caravan is perfect in accordance with a mix of European standards. However, according to the British Towing Code the percentage (loaded caravan / kerbweight tow car) is 61%.

The towing performances of this Bugatti with your Abbey are perfect (performance index = 205 km/h or 127 mph).

You may expect excellent performances from this outfit. On flat roads it's easy to come along, in which case top gear is applicable in all cases.

On motorway inclines you will be able not only to come along, but be the first at the top. On steep roads you have more than sufficient power to keep going. On hill starts there will be more than enough power to get going, provided the wheels have traction.

Possible top speed in windless conditions and head wind force 3
Top speed in 3rd gear is 202 km/h (126 mph) and in head wind it will be 202 km/h (126 mph).
Top speed in 4th gear is 250 km/h (155 mph) and in head wind it will be 245 km/h (152 mph).
Top speed in 5th gear is 258 km/h (160 mph) and in head wind it will be 242 km/h (150 mph).
Top speed in 6th gear is 218 km/h (135 mph) and in headwind it will be 202 km/h (126 mph).

Top speed or speed at 4800 rpm (= 80% of max. power revolution)
Speed in 1st gear is 74 km/h and in head wind (force 3) it will be 74 km/h.
Speed in 2nd gear is 107 km/h and in head wind (force 3) it will be 107 km/h.
Speed in 3rd gear is 148 km/h and in head wind (force 3) it will be 148 km/h.
Speed in 4th gear is 188 km/h and in head wind (force 3) it will be 188 km/h.
Speed in 5th gear is 225 km/h and in head wind (force 3) it will be 225 km/h.
Speed in 6th gear is 218 km/h and in head wind (force 3) it will be 202 km/h.

It just got funnier and funnier the further I went!
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

John I pullled a Monza 1400 with a 1.3 Marina (remember them?) and it would pull all day due to the low gearingand the torque it had in them days. It never missed beat and we had it all over THE uk. I would have thought that a vecctra, any vectra would be very good.
