    Default New springs/Spring seat mod

    Hi all,

Getting 4 new eibach springs fitted next week as GSI failed mot for fractured spring. I am getting a knocking noise from front LH side (i think) mainly when turning or going over bumps. Not sure if spring seat mod is in place.

Had a search and cant see any how 2s or links to where mod kit is purchased. Anyone got experience fitting this? I'd like to get it doen when mate is fitting springs. Is it just a rubber pad fitted to bottom of strut/pad? If so does it need to be any specific thickness?

Apologies if there is anything in forums on this but i can only find refs to the mod rather than any fitting/component details.

    Cheers!

The spring mod mate its only a rubber sleave that fits in the bottom part of the coil (spring), its used only in the front ones. You buy them from the dealer directly....low cost BTW.
