    Angry So angry, feeling sick.

Well friends. I picked up my 07' 2.2 SRI on Thursday (17th Jan). Perfect condition, not a scratch, not a dent anywhere!

Today i parked on our drive and as i pulled away and turned left "CRUNCH". Caught rear O/S wheel on the wall. Tore a 1.5 inch gash in tyre sidewall and scraped into alloy . Actually felt sick when i saw it. Worse was when i removed the wheel and propped it against a wall, it fell over - on the face - causing another small scratch. It then picked up a tiny (but noticable to a proud owner) chip from the wrench of the tyre monkey at KwikFit.

£130 for a new tyre and i now need to restore the otherwise perfect veccy to its glory prior to me being a numpty and forgetting i wasn't in my old - shorter - Clio.
I need to get the alloy repaired. Im awaiting a call back from Chips Away for a quote. Any idea what price i might be looking at? Any recomended repairers in the West Midlands (near Cannock)? Any experience of Chips Away?
Please help. I feel like a fool.

    Detritus.

*As a side line, i was going to take some picks today for the site! Grrrrrrr*

Thanks. Im hoping just a decent repair should be enough. The missus had a look and said she could hardly see anything. (perhaps its just my over critical eye). Ill give it a jolly good clean tomorrow and assess the damage.

From now on im driving in the middle of the road and parking in the far reaches of every car park!
    Detritis.
