Question following on from Ste's. I've pulled a 3GP file off the phone and it plays fine in QuickTime. What I want to then do is convert it to MPEG.

I've Googled and found loads of programs, but I'm wary of downloading a random one as often these things have spyware, adware etc. onboard - especially these sorts of programs.

So, can anyone suggest one that's from a trusted source?

That doesn't instil itself into your system like Real Player does, does it? I hate Real Player for the way it 'takes over' and their privacy policy stinks with regard to their downloaders - so I won't have it on any of my computers.

TMPGEnc with the quicktime plugin should do you fine. www.videohelp.com has guides on its use.
