Default Signum losing power all of a sudden

    Wonder if anyone can help.
I have a 03 2.2DTI signum and i pulled away from a roundabout got to about 40mph and all of a sudden the power just dropped.
The car did not cut out or anything just lost most of its power.
I had a little spanner come up on the dash.
I thought maybe the turbo went as i could still drive it home just it would not respond much to the throttle but i managed to run along at about 40mph.

Come out this morning to take it to a garage and started it up no spanner showing drove it to a local garage and it run perfect.

The chap put the diagnosis machine on and said it came up clear.
Still charged me £30 to put the diagnosis machine on.

All he said was bring it back if it does it again.

Any ideas as i don't want to break down.

Sounds like it could be a Boost Pipe split mate...

Quite common on the DTi engines mate. Was it chuffing out black smoke??

Down the front of the block, two big rubber tubes going either side of the car. Check them both thouroughly.

Also, check the wires to the boost sensor, they tend to be bare towards the plug and can cause a little trouble. Either wrap it it electrical tape or give it a lash with a bit of UB40.
