Alarm Problem

Help, the alarm on my Vec keeps going off randomly, no obvious patterns and no reason, its only done it on really cold nights though! Anyone else had similar snag?

Mine goes off quite a bit when there is bright sunshine,never really got to the bottom of it.
Always within a couple of mins of locking it seems to trigger,but once deactivated and then activated it seems ok.

Cheers mate, mines on the **** big style regardless of reactivating .

Try pushing the button on the dash to deactivate the motion sensors,there quite troublesome.

Check the bonnet pin switch is not out of allignment.

Hi m8
I had the same problem it is going in to be fixed on Monday ..sensor was faulty in the rear side glass, only went off when it was cold check this thread

The switch under the bonnet that detects if the bonnet is open or closed. Resides towards the rear of the engine bay, not far from the nearside suspension turret.

Thanks mate, looks like mines going to Vx next week. Just out of interest where abouts in Northumberland are you? Im from Ashington but live in Scotland now.
