    Default Another tyre thread

Was looking for a pair of tyres, but since the misses kerbed the fronts in some ice the other day now looking for all four. Since I can't afford a decent set of tyres was looking for the best compromise between price and performance and found these:

Barum Bravuris from Tyre Shopper. Apparently they got "Highly recommended mid range tyre by Auto Express" and are made by Continental. By running through the Tyre Shopper site I saved myself £70 for the same tyres from the same fitters (National Tyres in this case).

For those who are looking tyres might be worth a try see what price you get. The range is a bit limited but hey ho.

Can't be bad for the price either. Always rated these.

I thought the contis were not bad grip wise just to pricey.I fnd the fk452s really good in dry but just above average in the damp.In very wet conditions they are very good.As for wear its looking good so far.

I'd recommend Falkens too - my Dad has them on his Mazda, actually better than the Bridgestone ER300 that were on it from new.

Falkens noted for next time. Get them fitted Saturday so will see how they wear as next month got a 1,000 mile round trip so will measure the before and after.
