Default BMW.... I'll have a veccy thanks...

    Guys and gals.

I've just taken possesion of a 54 plate BMW 525 SE for a few days for one reason or another. Tell you what - I think it sucks!!!

On a 8 mile drive from picking it up to bringing it home - it fishtailed 3 times, and I wasn't pushing hard at all. The sound system is awful, and the range went from 99 miles to 54.

Just didn't feel sturdy on the road at all, too bare inside.

I'll still enjoy the speed - it is good at that, in a straight line anyway.

But I just thought it was interesting to note that in all honesty I'd have a Veccy over that.

Anyone else driven a car that should have been really exciting but was dissapointing???

An Audi 2.0 tdi sport - I don't think there are any springs in the suspension at all it rides so hard.

If you ran over a peanut I think it would take off.

Seriously though it can't take ruts & bumps, it jars & jumps around.

I used to own a 51 plate beemer 325 coupe, and after changing back to a veccy I would have to say I definately prefer the vx.

Just wish the customer service was as good
