    Default really annoying rattle

    guys i have a really annoying rattle coming from the back of the car when i go over a bumps and things on the road. it comes from the back of the car ie the boot area and rounds like it is a plastic panel vibratin but i cant see any loose or else like the boot isnt fully closed or something. any ideas. went to a vauxhall dealer and they said that since its over a yr old it would chatrge me to look at it so i need to sort it myself. also i need this sorted as i want to do things to the handlin and this rattle would only get worse with stiffer springs. hope someone can help me

    Had this problem the other week - on inspection found that I hadn't shut the covers to the storage cubby holes and it was vibrating!

    Make sure the adjusters on your boot lid havent moved, they will let the bootlid become loose on the catch, this happened to mine

    not cubby holes but i will check the adjusters. any tips on how to make sure they are right? i hope its this its really annoyin

    pull up and down on your bootlid when it is shut, if it fells like play on the catch they have moved

    looks like that is it there is a little play there. i take it to adjust it you turn the nut in either direction and line up the arrows agin/

    I just find my parcel shelf rattles. Not got round to curing it yet, i just turn the radio up louder...
