    Default central locking "bug"

If I use the interior button to lock the doors (while in the car) and then manually lift the drivers door lock to get out, using the remote to lock the doors does not lock the driver door (as you would expect)
and you have to use the remote to unlock, then lock the doors.

is this a bug in the central locking system?

Lifting the driver's door button is not unlocking the central locking, only the drivers door. That's why you then have to unlock with the remote then lock with it

so it was designed to do this!

I had done this 3 or 4 times before I realised, so I left my car unlocked while I left it.

guess I will have to turn on the auto lock/unlock function

I could but I am so used to using the door button (as on my old vectra) I have difficulty breaking the habbit (I only lock them if going into "risky" areas)

Auto lock is easiest thing to do, only thing is it unlocks when removing the key, so annoying if a passenger wants to get out and you want to keep the ignition on/engine running.
