Just saw this in vvoc and i thought maybe some of you might be interested

This is what the guy said

Just been to my local scrapyard in Hull, and they had a vectra SRi (56 reg) on a stand. Looked like it'd been ditched or rolled. It had snowflake alloys on with decent looking tyres.
When I asked in the office how much the wheels and tyres were off the said car, they replied "£300 +vat as seen".
Was very tempted (had the cash in my pocket from a cash job I'd just been paid for), but never got them in case they're buckled.

So if anyone's interested, it's "Doncaster motor spares" Hull branch.
Don't know their number, but they're on the net.

I already have snowflakes but i would have bought them and sell them in ebay and make some money

if any of the alloys were buckled what sort of cost is it to get them fixed? or not worth the hassle ?
