SRI lip spoiler

Hey guys,

Finally settled in after the move and found the sri lip spoiler ninja sold me but the adhesive tape had got all damp so I had to strip it off. Is the best course of action to simply replace the tape (and if so what sort and where can I get it?), do I need to go through the rigmerole of buying the VX kit and drilling the bootlid or is their some other way?

Any thoughts welcome

hi
i just stuck mine with a good quality double sided tape
about £10 for a 5 mtr roll. go for the best
well worth the money as you dont want the lip spoiler to fall off
and be carefull when placing the spoiler on the hatch.
when the tape is on dont pull the tape cover off
just peel a bit off on the end so you can get a hold of it
place and line it on the hatch so it is sitting correct
hold in place then pull the tape cover off and press firmly down untill all is stuck.

take your time getting it in the right place before removing tape cover or you will have to start again.

it's what would be used in a bodyshop, and well up to the job..

Thanks mhvcbv and Mark as ever. Bought and paid for the tape, all I need to do now is make a mess of putting it on

Obviously it needs doing in the dry but does it need time to set too?

also make sure the place where the lip is going is very clean
i used lighter fluid to clean mine or a good window cleaner will do
