    Default is this an EGR valve

    is this a egr vaulve for a 2ltr dti

    i think that is m8 yeah


    funnily enuf my engine management light came on today so went the dealer
    and it turns out that my egr valve is gone so got it booked in on monday to
    get it sorted so i`ll have to drive around with engine light on damn it.

    Does it connect to the inlet manifold in some way ??? If not then no, It's not the Egr & judging from the Pic ( Hard to tell the scale though) it looks way to big

    Still can't tell from that. The exhaust gas (Burn't stuff) has to be routed to the valve & then the valve open/closes etc into the inlet manifold & mixes the Cr@p with clean filtered air !!!

    It looks like the black pipe in the Pic is rubber, So no way that will be used for hot exhaust gases

    it bolts to the front of the engine under the black cover

    That is the egr valve on a Y20DTH engine.

    yes its at the bottom and there is one on ebay

    Ther you go , answered above, Never having seen that engine, It is hard to pin point.
