Default Advice Pls! Standard Skirts And Lips, Colour Coding?

    Hello again, guys!

Can anybody kindly point me in the right direction. I've done a search, not much came up for me.

Anyone colour coded the standard side skirts, rear rubber lip and front rubber lip? I did see a nice job with the front lip on here, but not the other parts.

Mine's the usual hard mudflaps/sideskirt, if that makes a difference at all. (I actually think many vecs look better with the flexible flappies and colour coded skirts.. more streamlined or something, especially if lowered.)

As I say, any info would be great! Just wondering if its a worthwhile exercise as was considering a 4 piece kit, which will obviously need painting anyway and of which I would probably need to discard the front lip for practical reasons where I live!

    Cheers!

Lo and behold.. found a thread after I posted this! Doh! Think that's what they call Sods Law!

    Nice job too!

Only reason I was unsure is a mate of mine was feeling away at them reckoning they were too pitted and flexible for a good job.. obviously not!

    Cheers!

Gotta be done IMO mate. Will make such a difference to the looks of your motor.
Might need a little bit more prep than the normal painted skirts but a decent bodyshop will sort all that.

    Thanks again!

Anyone got any thoughts on leaving the hard moulded mudflaps dark when painting the sideskirts.?

I'm just thinking it would give a cleaner sort of look, as the lines/colour on the car seems a bit unnatural (imo) if it were to go all bulbous round the wheels. The moulded flaps are a bit chunky, after all!

My car is flame red, so the dark/red contrast would be particularly beneficial, I'm thinking.

    Cheers lads!
