    Default Weird???

The other week i had my on board computer show up that i needed to check the right hand brake light, i did ad it was dead, so i went to the local motor factors an got another bulb an swapped them over.
Bout 3 days ago i had it come up again then go off, every so often the flash bulb comes up on the dash as well, but as soon as i pres ok, the bulb goes out after about 30 secs, after ive pressed the ok button...

Anyone shed any "light" on this strange weirdness??

Get it once per month but I have read on here that there are two brake bulbs per rear light unit and when one fails the other kicks in. If you look at the rear of the car whils someone presses the brake or you put something on the pedal you will see that both lights do not sit at the same level - actually i need to try this!!

    Cheers for reminding me!!

It could be something as simple as a loose connection on the new bulb matey.

Try changing all the brake light bulbs as well, because if the canbus detects one bulb is drawing less current than the others it may think there's a fault. If all the bulbs are new then they'll all be drawing the same current. Just a thought.
