face lift key on prefacelift?

hi i was just browsing ebay and come accross one of these facelift keys http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=003

what i was wondering is can it be possible to make one of these work on my 52 plate gsi? the reason being is i used to have that style key on a vw golf and i like the way the key hides away!! thanks in advance

The whole fob, with key cut to your car, will cost £37.50 + VAT from the dealer, plus around £15-20 for the programming to your car.

I don't know what Vx will charge for key cutting alone, if they will do that, so bear that in mind before bidding on that item. You are quite probably just better off buying the whole lot from Vx.

I just got one of the facelift vx flips from the dealers,it's about the only thing to do with the face lift that has good clean lines about it! lol
Works a charm,and does my 05 plate justice....

I am told thatVX only do the flip key now, but it was my local dealer that told me so it may not be true
