Default People shouldn't tell me these things!! Phases 6 & 7 on way!

As part of my ongoing mods, I have now purchased some other stuff to give her more umph and stop her quicker!!

The 2.4 inlet manifold alteration is still on hold because Vauxhall still haven't had the necesary bits and pieces arrive so I can fit it .

In the meantime, I have ordered a set of calipers, discs and pads from the gsi (314mm wahey!!) - which are being fitted tomorrow evening - thank you to the people involved in the thread about the kit not being too expensive from Vauxhall - and Duncan for helping with the correct kit!

And would you believe it, Rushy then went and told me about getting a 4-1 exhaust manifold cheaper than usual, well that was it, I had to have one of those too, its winging its way from Germany! A DBilas bit of kit, so hopefully some good gains to be had. Cheers Rushy.

Now my girlfriend has asked that if people wouldn't mind keeping any other money saving tuning tips to themselves, its costing me a fortune!! (only kidding - I love it! - and thank goodness she is so understanding - bless her)

    Cheers guys!

How much was the kit mate? Would it be the same for a 1.9 (120) facelift estate with 17" alloys? Im after one myself.

I'm not sure if its the same mate? I'm sure one of the other guys can tell you, I imagine so though, works out to about £190-£215 ish, depending on discount for trade etc.

Just to add there is a surcharge for the calipers, I phoned several garages and they all added a £25 charge for each caliper.

Maybe 2.2 petrol? I don't think I could compete with Spoons' plans for the VXR and some of the other turbo lads!!

Intake manifold, zorst manifold cams, sports cat, Zorts, software. Then I bet it wont take long for 2.0 SC injectors. Yes there are higher powered cars here but for pure physical upgrades to the lump...
