    Default Painting help

I'm getting a irmscher lower skirt and I'll need it painting along with the bumper " quite a good scratch on it"
Anybody recommend were to go to get it all painted up. I don't mind traveling to somebody to get the job done right.
Can this be done in a day?
I'm thinking of going to them, take off bumper get all sprayed up and refit them off home.
    Cheers.

    Shan,

I used a bloke Mark uses in Leighton Buzzard, he charged me £50 to paint my lower skirt recently and did a pretty fine job of it too. Its the 3rd thing he has done for me, and the results have been superb, i am getting him to do both my bumpers before Irmscher, I cant reccomend him highly enough, Its probabaly a bit far for you to travel though? Just remember, that the skirt needs bonding to the car, and needs to stand for 10 hours after fitting.

I never realized that the irmscher skirt was a bond on one. I thought just a clip on like the VX one thats on it.

Leighton Buzzard is a little bit far. Thanks for the info anyway Ben.
Mushy I'll be in touch. Dont think i'll be going flip flop tho. LOL Cheers

Its part clip on and part bond on mate.

On mine the you had to cut a small section out of each side of the bumper aperture, clip it into position then bond the edges to the bumper.

I have had my rear skirt clipped on and secured with some screws in case i wanted to go back to original. Looks fine but I guess bonding is better if your keeping it.
