Deco - just wait for the threads to come flying through.

I'm making no comment as me personally, I'm going to change mine shortly to Goodyear Excellence (225/45/17 as opposed to standard fit 215/50/17).

I'm sure other members will mention the change of size.

For a start, more choices of the 225/45/17 tyre are available.

The tyre is slightly wider 225mm wide instead of 215mm
The 45 is the height / sidewall = 45% of the width

Everyone on here probably has different views / opinions of makes of tyres, some have good wear life, some better grip, so worth reading some of the threads.

I'm due to get a set of Goodyear Eagle GSD3 tyres fitted on Thursday / Friday. I went for these as some had recommended, plus good dry & wet weather performance.
