After your map that should be all you're using!!...makes a massive difference, a tad more power and a few extra mpg.
Don't use normal unleaded waste of time.

Yep, I've used it and my car seemed to like it. Although I have noticed that the results can vary - I think it can vary batch to batch and how long it's sat around. I actually stopped using it as I found it wasn't giving the feel it used to, so went onto Esso SUL instead.
As for locations, I'm sure Tesco website, or maybe the Greenergy one (as they make it) has locations.
agreed, but where can I get it from ??
I've tried the store locator and it doesnt tell you if a store sells 99 Ron.
So I called Tesco head office and spoke with a chap who had a spreadsheet of over 100 stores and non of them were anywhere local to me !!..
I'm not driving 20 miles to fill up either... cos I'd need to fill up again by the time I got home
I might just stick with BP Ultimate as I dont want to get caught out with low fuel and having to search for a Tesco 99 Ron station ... driving the car with low fuel would be like nursing a crying baby !!
Dont know if this is any help Steve but its the website for greenergy...

BP stuff is fine but, you'll soon suss out which stations have it as you'll be in one 300% more than with the CDTi.
do a google search for 99ron store locator 1st link has a list of them mate
would it not be better to get it mapped to run 97 ron, my subaru impreza was mapped for 97 ron meaning i didnt have to plan my journeys around certain high ron petrol stations.
The Vectra VXR has a very sophisticated engine management system that can 'recognise' higher grades of fuel and changes the timing to allow for it.
the nearest one to me is Stoke on Trent ... so thats around 35 miles away.... 70 mile round trip
