    Default 2.0 DTi very thirsty

hiya guys, since i posted a query about my 52 plate DTi being a little thirsty a while ago, i changed the thermostat, had a service, oil +filter , air filter pollen filter, etc, on thursday last week, i filled up to the brim and it the needle was its width above the first segment after the half way mark and i had only covered 139 miles ! no visible signs of leaks around the engine or any evidence of a leak on the road ..... it also seems down on power ...... the car has covered 142 k miles as a foot note i remember going on a journey last year not too long afteri had bought it and at half way on the gauge after filling it up i saw 306 miles on the trip meter .. any help / ideas would be very much appreciated mant thanks in advance Dave

I have never driven a 2.0DTi, but i wouldnt say mine was sluggish. Its no ferrari or 1.9CDTi, but its quite spritely.

If i drive sensibly, i can get between 420-450 to a tank.

Get Gareth to organize an RR day, and get it on the rollers to see what it puts out.

The Toledo is a smaller car though mate, wherea's the Vectra is a big old car, and the 100bhp engine is gonna struggle a bit pulling it along. Having never driven one, though i dont know what they're llike performance wise.

Thats exactly what i have done, Made it look the nuts. Although after Irmscher i "might" try a Regal Re-map, a De Cat and maybe if its deemed worth it, an FMIC.
