    helou,,plz i have vc 2003 2.0dti with original radio, its possible connect there a subwoofer without any reductions?

    You can get a line driver mate. You wire the rear speakers into it and it amplifies the signal and then is ready to through RCA's to your amps/subs.

    The best answer is you can, but dont.To use an RCA convertor you loose the rear speakers and the sound aint that good.

    I didnt loose mine. Also you could put all you line outs into it and then into amps for your door speakers.

    hm ok so i have to buy this RCA thing , so i loose some speakers when i connect sub,amp, this way?

    I dont think u will lose any speakers mate my mate has this fitted but he is running a active amp with his with the amp built in to the sub

    The rears will work fine, I run that set up. It only takes a little of the signal of the rears. Problem is the quality isn't the best and the bass drops when giving it beans. If you dont mind spending a bit more then the line driver is the way but that can run into £100's for a top end one.

    How you doing mate.got a vectra sri nav 2005 couple of months ago,saw this posting about line drivers.Got A set twin set of vibes and amp,but want to keep standard headunit,how does the line driver work and how do you connect it?
