Default Removal of the rear wiper??

I am thinking of removing the rear wiper for good, to smooth out the lines of the car a bit more...

Now, Can youy get a screen without the hole in it for the wiper, or is a Saloon windscren the same as a Hatch one??

Or am i just too totally obsessed with this modifying lark and should i stop thinking so hard about things like this!

    Yep, it has.

My favourite Beglian Orange Vectra has had it done. Just had a look at a picture i have of it.

Not sure what he used to plug the hole in the screen with though?

Saloon rear screen is different from hatch as it is shorter and more steeply angled in order to provide a bootlid, as well as not having a hole in it. Also it butts right up to the rear edge of the roof as it is not hinged.

I reckon i could probabaly make something myself to plug the hole with. Just been thinking about it, and the only concern is that it doesnt allow people easy access into the vehicle.

I will have a think and chat to the appropriate person and see if its viable. Hopefully it is, then the wiper can go this week, and get the aerial gone at the beginning of April!

    You'll need a grommet.
