    Default Interior Problems....

I'm selling my leather interior out of the VXRD and the new buyer has a pre-facelift SRi interior that he wants to swap.

They look absolutely identical except two things.

    1) Front passenger electric control switch on door panel is slightly different.

    2) All 4 door panels have a different plastic trim (along the top edge of the door card)

Question is... than these above bits be swapped, so that the 'leather' seats and door cards can be transferred ?

    Cheers

    1) The switch is different, (as the pre-facelift had the boot unlock button) but isn't the mounting insert/hole size still the same on the door cards?

    2) Do you mean where the door pins stick through? If so, then I don't think it'll be swapable.

Which bit? The trim or the switch?

The switches simply detach, so can remain on the original car. Just the cards can be swapped.

Where is all goes wrong (in this instance) is the plastic trim on the door cards. On the pre-facelift its completely different design and colour to the facelift.

Matt also had a concern over the seat airbags and wiring loom compatibilities (canbus etc).

    So best left alone.

My interior is still up for sale here http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=38070

... but I need to find someone who has a facelifted SRI vectra to swap with...

    Yep, that's what I was meaning/thought.

Indeed, especially if there's any doubt.
