    Default Compensation Culture

Back at the end of Sept, I had a little altercation with an old Honda Civic.
Came off this roundabout in the town centre and the guy in front stopped dead in front of me, I hit the brakes but it had been absolutely peeing down for about an hour...........you guessed it...........straight in the back of him (that will teach me to run with cheap tyres), speed?? about 10/15mph - damage??? dislodged lower grille on mine, this on his.

    Injuries, none apparent!!!

Anyway I phoned the insurance company and told them, they said "as you are fully comp, we will deal with everything now sir, dont worry"
Sure enough never heard anything, in November my insurance was due for renewal so I rang the insurance co to see if there was a claim................
"Oh yes there is a claim going through sir, we haven't agreed to apy anything as yet but the third party is claiming.............£7505!for personal injuries.................STUFF ME, no wonder everyones insurance continues to go up, not that I am saying there was nothing wrong with him, I mean who am I to know.

In my younger 205 days I had a crash with a lotus of all things. !00% his fault as he undertook me on a single carriageway going round a left hand bend. My barrister kept pushing for me to claim whiplash even though I was fine.

So in real terms, this person has stopped up sharp for no real reason, and you've given him what could be compared to a ride on the dodgems, and he thinks he's gonna get 7k for it, I'm currently expecting something like £1500 for my smash last year, I'm under physio right now and at the time I felt like I'd been on a mission with Jack Bauer, and now I still get clicks in my neck and feel knackered in my lower back if I do a bit of lifting or bending over! no innuendo please lads.

For this one [ I was stationary and he was doing 40 mph] I got £2400 for whiplash & costs.....he shunted me out of the way then hit the fiesta as well !!.

But for the Taxi one I got nothing my fault to fast .. to wet ,completley lost it Only glad I did not hit the cars coming in the other direction and that it was only me on board.
