    Default double din headunits best value for money?

    whats the best value double din headunit that is ipod compatible and still keeps steering wheel controls any ideas?

    if your not going to use a navi or use it for video save a bomb of cash and go for a single din unit


    there is so cheapo units out there iv seen them and all ill say is you get what you pay for

    thought maybe a double din to fill the big space left from the old stereo somtimes single din can look out of place maybe

    Do u really want double din? i think the pocket thats left with a single din would be handy. I'm hoping to get my alpine ida-x001 in this sat. with steering wheel controls and the screen on the dash all still working. It only does i pods no cd's tho you can add a changer.

    i had this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kenwood-DDX-70...QQcmdZViewItem my old vec and tbh it was a fantastic bit of kit worth every penny as it was doddle to use and the ipod function was simple . i have pioneer avic-x1r in my zaffy now but wished i had stuck with a kenwood again

    actually when i think about it your right i have the alpine in my toledo not this model but ipod compatible and its blindin and true i pod speed just hafta get a few quid together

    the pocket underneath is not that useful, everything falls out when you overtake....
