Default Cheap and effective IPOD into CD70

    just brought one of these
    http://www.lowcostcaraudio.co.uk/sho.../AUDIO-VISUAL/

    and an aerial adapter
    http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_p...?partno=PC5111

tried out the modualtor allready (witha bodged aerail adapter) and really happy with the results, no more hissing, or crackling at all which i was getting with the FM transmitter.

no ipod controls or flashy screens, but i do get to keep the CD70 and its colour Navi screen working. Nice.

Nice find. I thought it seemed too good a price to be true but took a gamble on one. Ordered it 20:00 Sunday evening and it arrived lunch time today.
Got to say I'm well impressed. It's got a real feel of quality about as you'd expect from Harmon Kardon.
It's that good I almost feel guilty for getting change out of £31

I've had one hanging off my CDC40 DAB stereo since I got my car in Sept 06, paid about £80 for mine, the boxes are mounted behind the heater controls, ipod in the glovebox, control on steering column & display mounted on the passenger heated seat switch blank. Got the fakra connectors from a local car radio shop but they hadn't got a clue what a fakra was.

I've been more than impressed with mine, they were originally £150 in halfords £31 is a steal

I've stuck mine in my works Ford Transit. I took out the in dash 6 disc changer job I got for nothing as they are fetching £100 on Ebay. I stuck the tape deck back in and now with this is brilliant. Couldn't believe it when it even came with aerial adaptors too .
Earlier on Sunday I had been looking at getting like a car charger as the ipod battery is knackered (£15) and some form of naff transmitter say another £15. My patience held out & I came home to find your post. I couldn't be happier.
Yes you're right about your Fakra connectors but what might be worth trying is to see if your radio can tune into the ipod player through the RF transmission it gives out without even plugging the car aerial through the box. I've known this to work before.

Only took half an hour to stick it in aswell, control on steering column and display in a conveniantly sized air vent
