Radio Problem

My radio won't work the display now says SAFE instead any one know
what this is ?

Have you disconnected the power at all?

yep, you need to input the code again..

what model radio unit is it?..it'll be on the front of the unit..

the radio usually displays safe when the radio has lost power battery disconnected etc it will display safe for about a half hour then it ill ask you for your radio code if you enter the wrong code a few times it will display safe again for another half hour and so on

Looking at your profile you will have the 2005 or 2006 unit. In your handbook you will have a little card with codes on it. If you look in your manual it will tell you how to put the code in.

turn on ignition with the radio off..

hold down the AS button and turn the unit on..
it will beep and change from SAFE to CODE - - - -

assume your code is 1234

press button 1 once
press button 2 twice
press button 3 three times
press button 4 four times

now press AS until the unit beeps again..the unit will switch to it's old settings...
