    Angry Yet Another Crankshaft Pulley!

    My car is a 1.9cdti (120bhp ) "Exclusiv", Feb 07 with 22,000 miles.
About 4 weeks ago, the crankshaft pulley became very noisey at idle.
Then on wednesday night the pulley damper snapped, as car is still under warranty went to local VX dealership.
I just hope, the new one lasts a bit longer.
As I think a bill of about £300, every 20,000 miles is not good !

    Why's that?..

If it fails again ( and the car is still within warranty) then it'll get replaced again free.....

Just because it's been repaired once doesn't end their responsabilty towrads keeping it on the road..

why are you so certain you will have to pay next time?...

TBH, the CDTi rarely suffers from this problem at all, so if new parts have been fitted then it should be good for life......
