    Default Quandry

    If I stick a Caterman or similar on my otherwise standard CDTi150 Elite am I going to suffer from it not being SRi spec if you know what I mean?

    I think he means, because it's an Elite and not SRI, the engine performance will be better on the CDTI with the Caterman box regardless of Model.

    Insurance is a different issue and the insurers should be informed. HTH

    i think the only way you're going to suffer is if you stick with the standard suspension. add such a large amount of power and sticking with the soft suspension of the elite could spell trouble.

    Your right about the handling Harry, I have the Design, but changed from 16" rims to Goodyear F1's on 225/45/17's and it has helped, but it needs to be lowered, with possibly SRI springs, still the performance is nice in a straight line

    That was what i was thinking more go but no better round corners etc which could be an issue.

    Its just like putting a 3L v6 cdti in there mate but lighter. Both models are available with same none sport suspension.
