    Default hey

    Lo all.

Am in need of a bigger, more efficient motor and the Veccy CDTi 150 is looking like a very cheap option.

Browsing the site just to build up a bit of understanding of the veccy, known issues etc.

Current motor is a Renaultsport Megane 225 Cup which i love. But am now doing 22k miles a year and the fuel and lack of a boot is a problem.

    cheers

    its down to price m8.

with partners discount i can get a brand new Exclusiv 1.9 CDTi 150 for less than £11k.

i think that the cheapest 3l would be circa £16k even with full discount (i might not get that)

welcome... had my CDTi 150 for a week, and it blows the socks off the mondeo TDCi 130 i've just got rid of, will be keeping this for a good while and i'm sure my next car will be a vauxhall too

you could do a lot worse... if i remember right, the torque on the Megane is circa 200lb/ft, so although your going down in power, your going up in torque, so still got the fun appeal there
