Same concept as the original Mini/Beetle when they first came out and before that the Model T. No frills motoring for the masses. Advantage they have now is that technology has moved on considerably.

could get one and fit it in the boot of the vectra... park at the back of shopping car parks, get the little nipper out, drive over to the shops... no more damaged paintwork from morons in car parks
