    Default bad weather

    been down in england for two days and returned home today to find a chimney top in the boot of ma vectra came off the neighbours roof straight threw the back window thanks to the high winds £70 excess later and new window fitted, but now need to get it tinted to match the rest of the car..

    at least the insurance honoured it, heard of it before where they won't because it's technically an act of god ( their get out clause )

    what did your neighbours say ?

    not a nice thing to happen mate, did you tell your ins company about the tint's if so they should re-tint it for you

    Lucky that didnt land on the roof mate the car could have been a write off!

    Should you not have claimed off of your neighbours house insurance???

    They should offer to pay all your expenses m8, why should you have to pay cause they couldnt keep their house in order, I check the roof & chimney every year cause its bl**dy windy up here, mind u whats the bet I'll wake up tomorrow with mine in ma boot!!!!

    the neighbour rents there house, so having to get insurance company to chase the land lords insurance, so have to wait and see what happens...

    insurance would'nt replace the tint as it's not standard, but guy down road said he would do it for £30 seems good price
