Spanner over a car light keeps coming on

Hi guys this spanner over a car light keeps coming on just started tonight. The car is 3 years old this march. So is it still under warrenty and can it get fixed for free at any vauxhall dealer. Any help would be grateful

Must be an epidemic, mine started tonight too. Engine management light would need to be diagnosed by a dealer

According to my handbook spanner over car means Engine electronics!

You can take it to any Vauxhall dealer.
Your warranty is 3 years or 60,000miles from date of first registration, so you should be OK.

Thanks mate even if I bought it used from vauxhall. So as long as its under 3 years

Yes should be fine, I had £500 of work done on the wifes VW 4 days before the 3 year warranty ran out

Hi rollercaoster,
As stated above the cars come with the 3yr 60K warranty, dont matter where you bought it from.
However the vehicle must have been serviced iaw the servicing schedule. If not Vx may only offer part payment.
If you've a fully stamped service book and/or receipts then they cant wriggle out of it, this includes if the car was serviced by a non-Vx garage provided they used genuine Vx parts and it was serviced iaw the schedule.
