    Default Aerial adaptor

Hi there, I bought a new DVD player for the motor (double DIN). I got a double DIN facia from Car audio direct and bought the ISO and aerial adaptors from

It turns out the aerial adaptor is the wrong one (even though I was told by someone it was the right one for my car). It has 2 leads coming out of it, a blue one, and and a plug, neither of which fit.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the correct one?

I have an 04 LS estate 2.2 direct (with CDR2005)

    Cheers

Also I have another radio related problem. When i plug in the new DVD all it does is say "radio" on the screen every 5 or so seconds and makes a motorized noise from the cd slot. Could this be becuase I havent got the aerial plugged in? Or could it be becuase I havent wired up the parking break lead? I managed to get a DVD into it but it wouldn’t do anything (nothing showing on screen)

    Thanks

You will probably need a FAKRA aerial adapter m8 and you might have to ground the parking wire to play dvd's

That is a FAKRA to DIN adapter so maybe you have a DIN fitting on the original headunit?
Try this link to find what you need

Thanks mate. the original connection on the car has a sort of triangle shaped pin in a round hole, the fakra adaptor has a circular F/pin so it wont go in.
