    Default KWP2000 USB ECU flasher

    Hi all,

been having a bit of a sort out.

    Found this in a draw:

I got it to reprogram my ECU plus do other jobs. One week after buying it a friend aquired a Tech II so it became redundant. It has never been used as you can see the power leads are still in their sealed bag.

It cost £125 when it was first brought but am looking for £30 inc postage.
I have the USB drivers and I think some other disks if I can hunt them out.

The adaptors that come with allow it to be used on other makes of car.

Think someone can have some fun with it!

Have found the manual for this and it appears it will flash the ECU. I also found a cd full of remaps as well.

Seems to work on 1.8/2.0 16v Siemens Simtec90/Simtec70
    2.0 16v DI/DTI Bosch EDC15M

    plus loads more

and also off the top of my head the astra G, renault master/traffic vans (the new ones the same as the vx van) and also ford galaxies and the seat, vw clones, there are lots of motors with edc15 ecu's, i have a cd with 30,000 tuning files on it which are for the edc15 flashers.

Looking at the paperwork that seems to be the case. It can do Astra F 1.7 16v DTI Bosch EDC15M and Delco Y17DT

the y17dti delco was the one used to do the 51, 02, 52 and 03 reg astra vans and estates..

Found this link in the info i got with the one we bought..

    http://www.ecu-flasher.com/ecu-flasher-models.pdf
these ecu's are flashable with the edc15 and the later models with an edc16..
I know i have a 2.0ltr dti tuning file, i remember seeing it, i think the engine code was Y20DTI, i have no idea if this is a Vec B engine or not though...
