    Default Advice please

    I ordered a new SRI XP2 with Nav back in October.
    I rang the dealer to see if the car has been delivered and it has. The dealer has said I can't collect it as there is a fault on it, The alarm keeps going off.

    What should I do?
    Should I wait for it to be fixed or cancel the car and say I don't want it?

    i've say wait.. it won't take long to fix compared to the wait for another car..

    It takes the excitement out of ordering my first ever new car.

    I sure they will get it sorted m8 at least they told you there was a fault alot of the dealers would of said nothing and hoped it did not go off when you picked the car up.

    They're probably just waiting for a new part, they'll probably just be replacing the whole alarm powersounder unit.

    If it starts doing it within the 1st couple of weeks reject it and insist on another car.

    i'm surprised they even heard the alarm in the first place to diagnose that there was a fault! : )
