    Default Taxi!!!

To cut a long story short, i had to get a taxi to York this morning from Newcastle at about 0400am along with 6 of my collegues, The company booked two taxi's the first car to show up was a Ford Mundane
Unlucky for me i had to go in it.

As we pulled away the second taxi turned up, i couldnt believe it, it was a veccy

About five minutes into the trip we aproached the A1 Southbound and the inevitable happened, the beautiful vectra went cruisin on by.

Once we eventually got to York, (2 hours later that is)
My collegues who went in the veccy told me it took them 1 hour and 15 minutes. (and they werent speedin)

I just got home and needed to rant and tell everyone

    I HATE MONDEO'S

You'd of probably hated the ride in the Vectra if you picked a rear seat.
    I've heard they're awfull.

The Ford will offer more leg in the back, but less head, last time I drove a Mondeo it felt like a lump of old iron, where the Vectra is imo quite nimble and light to drive, given the choice I think I would pick the Vectra "D" over the new Mondeo, something I just don't like about Ford's these days, gone are the days of the 70-80's ranges where the car's were out front of most other's, anyone who owned a Mk2 Granada or Mk4-5 Cortina could confirm this, they were great cars.

    Ford Mondane
Yeah I vote all the way for a Vecy all the time, it`s true that the back seat is quite small on the leg area, but Who cares! I`m allways at the wheel

True, but saloon and hatch the Ford has much more room, but suffers from the dipping hatch so ppl in the rear have to lean forwards.
