18's and lowering is no problem mate.

I have 18's on mine and run it 75mm lower on Coilover's and have no issues with 4 adults in the car..

    As for Springs,

Eibach's are exceptionally good quality and transform the handling of the car, but only lower 30mm, which is enough for some people..

Or there is Pi which lower 45mm, but are not as good a quality as Eibachs

Or you can go Coilver's, which lower up to 75mm, look the part, very expensive, and turn your Vectra into a Go Kart!

    Coilover's all the way!!

    What do you want..

    Eibach's, Pi's or COilover's....

Eibach's will set you back roughly £140 + Postage
    Pi's about £100 + Postage
    CoilOver's about £500 all in.

If your after Eibach's, then LMF in Market Harborough are very very good, or some have recently used RoadRunner Motorsport for them. For Pi's, i used POTN.com, had them delivered the same day!

If its Coilover's then i will email you details for the man to contact.

you shouldnt really need shorter shocks to fit lowering springs although if your looking to put uprated shocks in your safer just going the coilover root

If you opt for the Pi springs, yes you will need shorter shocks, but with the Eibach's you wont...

If you need shortened Shocks, Bilstein do a very good range at very good prices from Euro Car Parts.
