    Default Looking at new cars

I have been looking at new cars this weekend and chose to look at the toyota avensis and the new mazda 6.

Both cars are extremely nice but both start at 16-17 grand

My 07 plate 1.8vvt exclusiv cost me £10,995 on the road brand new. After looking at these others i've realised what a bargain it was.

I have been offered £9,000 trade in with 5000 miles on the clock.

I'm off to look at Honda Accord and the Ford Mondeo

I'll have to start saving the pennies i think.

Yep get the Mazda, I had a 2.0D Sport and loved it until I got an amazing offer on my V6 Cdti. Out the four you mentioned its a choice between the accord and the Mazda. The accord is saloon or estate only I would never have a saloon and the Accord Estate is one ugly slab sided machine so the mazda won because it was a hatch.

Isn't both the Mazda 6 and Honda Accord about to be replaced? (or maybe the Mazda is out already).

over here in N.Ireland some Mazda dealers are doing a limited edition for the 6.Quite a few extras etc for same price. This usually happens when a new model of a car is appearing. My mate just bought one (nice car)piano black interior etc

The brand new Mazda 6 is out. They had both in the showroom. The new one is MUCH nicer than the old one.Price for the old one is £13,995 and the one i'm looking at is the new model ts2 at £16,100 retail. They might haggle on the price though

Mazda for style, Honda for residual and reliability, my mate ran an Accord about ten yrs back, said it was the most comfy and reliable car he'd ever owned.

And don't go to Halfway for your next one, they sell tat!
