With them sucking in all the hot air from under the bonnet, I'd use a panel filter and do the air box mod
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

will need a direct cold air feed from around the front bumper area, so that mean's poss a hole to cut, and also need a heat shield to stop it from sucking in all the hot engine bay air....

I drilled a 50mm hole in the front of the air box just below the air intake pipe.

I put a universal induction kit on mine to see what it sounded like and OMG the 150 cdti sounds mental its like all thats under the bonnet is a turbo what a noise!I wasnt keen on leaving it on as it was not meant for the car so put in a k&n panel filter and did the box mod and it drives alot better now.

I've got one of the metal rip speed filters from Halfords in mine and it sounds very nice. Would change back to the box in summer though with two cold air feeds.
