Why not ask your m8 (beefycol)? He's fitted a new regulator.

Well I was actually mention beefycol but D beat me to it. Is it a direct mate or the normal 16v? The direct runs higher pressure's any way and there have been a few (I do mean a few not many) that have had problems with the fuel pump, so make sure you do your research properly before you go ahead, you wouldnt want your pump to go just for a little extra at 2500 rpm. Ask on the 2.2 site (z22se.co.uk), its been done on the se but from what i'm aware not yet on the yh. Actually is that an option?... 2.2 direct reg on a none direct? Are they different part numbers?

Sorry guys, being doing a bit of research and the adjustable fuel reg is a no go really. As soon as you add more pressure the ecu shortens the pulse, so the end result is no difference in the amount of fuel. A remap is still the way to go i'm afraid.
