    Default Motorcycle Licence

I'm looking to do my motorcycle licence this year before the new stricter tests come in to force. I had to collect a scooter for my brother the other day and it kind of gave me a great big buzz and now i want one of my own . Question is i hear that there are several different ways of doing it with direct access being the best but whats the difference. do you not just have an hour a week like when i took my car license or is it like my hgv licences where there were 4 days then a test and how much am i looking at to get from start to finish?????

Its usually a 2-3 day course with a test at the end, I passed after 2 days and a cost of £700!!! There really is nothing on earth like being on nice fast bike, your right to want to do it before all the changes its gona be sooooooo much more expensive. Get your theory out of the way and book a course, you wont regret it!!!!

You have to do your CBT 1st (Compulsory Basic Training) @ a cost of about £75 which should include your bike hire aswell, when passed the CBT is valid for 2/3 years not certain which.
Then you can either do a block test which is loads of lessons and your test rolled into a 3/5 day course @ about £700

Or the way i did it was i passed my CBT and bought a cheap 125cc bike, insured it 3rd party only and rode it everywhere to gain the road knowledge ...... in the meantime of owning this 125cc bike i had a 2hr lesson every 2 weeks for about 4 months with a pro instructor ...... he advised i was ready for my test so put in for it ..... took it on a cold Feb morn and passed with 2 minors.

Dont know what the changes are since i passed 4/5 years ago but i know its getting harder.

Nothing will give you a buzz or an adrenaline rush like the acceleration of a superbike nor can anything come close to the thrill of doing very high top speeds, the only downside is you have to think for everyone and i mean everyone thats out while you are.
