    Default Illuminated sunvisors

    hi i have been given a pair of sunvisors with lights on i cant see a wire in the hole would i have to drop roof lining down to find it or are the wires not fitted to SRi's thanks

    i think they are wired up to the interior light for the live and earth and probably need tech 2ing into the ecu

    can you not retro fit them off the interior light, and if you dont want em how much if you want to sell em, and can you post pic's etc etc...

    They definitely don't need Tech 2ing into the car. I don't know how/where they wire in as mine came with them as standard, but other guys have done this mod so should be able to help. I have a feeling they have their own little ribbon cable.

    You think wrong! I have done this mod to my 2006 SRi. Have a feel around in the headlining where it meets the windscreen. Just gently pull it back and you should find the spare black plug on the end of some narrow ribbon cable.

    If you have these the job is easy just plug and play no tech required. Get your fingers in behind the lining and run them the full width of the screen (except for where the alarm is mounted).

    great i found the wire & they work many thanks for advice

    now im off to fit the rear light scary bit taking knife to the head lining

    Be very careful you do not damage the ribbon cable in there mate! Good luck, the rear light is a nice little touch
