Thread: anyone know how to downsize your images to upload them when using image uploader?

    Default anyone know how to downsize your images to upload them when using image uploader?

    file size seems to be to big and it wont allow me to upload the pics

    Are you using XP?

    If so use download the imager resizer from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

    It's just a right click on the file and chose resize then. It creates another image (Small or medium both work) which you can upload.

    if on xp then right click on the pic you want, go down to image resizer click on that and pick the size you want, image re-sizes and then you can upload it with the forum picture manager ( ie:- manage attachments button)

    i use microsoft picture manager came with office 2007 and is a really easy tool to use...

    I am on Windows vista and use VSO Image resizer you can get it as a free download from here http://www.vso-software.fr/products/image_resizer/

    It works very well with vista, and is very easy to use. You just right click on the picture and resize it....doddle!

    You can even use paint - which comes free with every PC known to man.

    Simply open the picture and stretch / skew by the appropriate % to reduce both vertical and horizontal dimensions.
