    confused Coilover and tyre help

Ok, I went looking for coilovers and new 19's today but i was asked wot tyre i wanted on my new 19's as if a was to lower the car down the full way the 235/35 may be too high/wide. I was thinking of 225/35 avon tyre but have seen one here with 215/35.

Also where is the best/cheapest place to get coilovers online
    Thanks Alan

Durk, you've mentioned my favourite tyre - AVON.

But to save yourself maybe 20% on tyres, have a look at Cooper tyres http://www.coopertire.com/html/tireselector.aspx.

Copper are the American owners of Avon and basically offer the same tyres but branded as "Cooper". Most tyre outlets can get hold of Cooper tyres. I've found Cooper tyres are extremely good value and offer good all round package.

On my other motor, a Rover 800 turbo Coupe, I was quoted £71.00 all in for a 215/45/17 (fitted, balanced, blah, blah, blah). http://www.coopertire.com/html/produ...&artw=50&rd=17

I am on 18's and run 225/40/18's with my Coil Over's...

Carl Bear has 19's and runs 225/35/19's, this is to enable him to get full steering lock with no rubbing..

Hi Durk, I got my coilover's from SpeedBox, they are made by FK and give a 75mm drop. They are advertized at -65mm drop, but they actually give -75mm. There is a way to drop it even further too, by about another 12mm, but that involves removng the locking rings, but if you run them in the Max Low settings(Platforms right down) then the locking rings are not needed as the platform will be sat right at the bottom of the thread so cant adjust itself anyway.

If you need anymore more just ask.

hi, i would have the 225/35 tyres if u are to lower the car right down.

i have KW coilovers down about 75mm, with 225/35/19 tyres and its very close at the front.

yeah they are down full alround.
watch ure negative camber on the rear, and make sure u get ure wheel alignment done after fitting including (if possible) the front camber, as its adjustable witht the coilovers.

im givin my wheels a refurb this winter, will look a bit different when they go back on. what wheels u lookin at?
