I take it you or the garage have checked to see if power is getting to the mirror?

Dimming mirror won't work if the ignition isn't on, it's daylight, reversing lights are on, or a door is open.

Is there something wrong with the accessory position of the ignition switch?

As you've tried another mirror, that rules out the sensor detecting whether its daylight or not.

Interior light will be on if a door is open, unless something has gone wrong with the switch in one of the doors and it is fooling the mirror into thinking a door is open when in fact it isn't and it's not putting on the interior light.

Check to see if reverse lights are on all the time.
